WESTWOOD, MA., May 1, 2000 -- Filterfresh Corporation introduced the Piccolina and Caffe Mio Brewing System, two new single-cup brewing system featuring the individual coffee packet option and the Van Houtte Collection of coffees. These easy-to-use systems provide additional coffee variety and the convenience of single-cup brewing.

The Piccolina, less than 18 inches high, is compact and fits easily on countertops and under cabinets. Customers choose from 8 coffee blend varieties and 2 teas. Additionally, they are provided with a main coffee selection for their most popular blend. Coffees are from the Van Houtte Collection, an exclusive, gourmet line of coffees, only available from Filterfresh. Additional system options include 2 cup sizes and 2 coffee strengths.

The Caffe Mio offers the same features as the Piccolina with the addition of a Hot Chocolate or Cappuccino option. Either of these beverages can also be mixed with coffee for another hot beverage selection.
