Relationship Offers Filterfresh Customers a Total Beverage Solution

Westwood, Mass. --- May 1, 2002 --- Filterfresh Coffee Services Inc., a subsidiary of Van Houtte Inc., announced today that they have joined forces with leading water technology company innowave Incorporated, a Mutual of Omaha subsidiary, to offer an additional beverage solution to their customers. Through the relationship, Filterfresh locations will now offer co-branded innowaveâ products along with Filterfresh's extensive line of coffee brewers.

• The innowave ChillerTM, a revolutionary water treatment system that reduces contaminants in ordinary tap water. Unlike a traditional bottled water system, the Chiller provides a continuous water supply. The Chiller will traditionally be marketed with the Caffe Mio Single Cup Coffee Brewer.
  
  
• The innowave LFTM, a new countertop unit that treats drinking water for small offices by attaching directly to the tap for optimal freshness. The innowave LF will traditionally be marketed with the Keurig® Premium Coffee Brewer.
