Westwood, MA -- May 7, 2003 -- Filterfresh Coffee Service Inc., a subsidiary of Van Houtte Inc., announced today that it will offer the Keurig B1000 single-cup coffee brewing system, designed specifically for smaller offices, to its customers. Featuring Keurig's patented K-Cup® single portion packs, the B1000 is ideal for offices of 20 or fewer people, as well as conference rooms and reception areas. This is the second Keurig brewer made available by Filterfresh Coffee Service, following a licensing and distribution agreement signed with Keurig Premium Coffee SystemsTM in September 2001.

• Location flexibility: the B1000 can be placed anywhere -- there is no need for direct water connection as it is filled manually with a "pour-over" feature (64 oz. capacity)
• Custom BrewTM allows user to control intensity of the coffee brewed -- great for iced coffee, mocha or a more intense taste
• Smaller size: weighs only 21 pounds and takes up only 119 square inches of countertop space
• Each K-Cup® contains an individual serving of freshly roasted Van Houtte coffee or one of six Bigelow specialty tea blends

The other Keurig unit from Filterfresh connects directly to a water supply, features hot water on tap for tea, soup or hot chocolate and is designed for larger offices with more than 20 employees.
